At first I figured I’d meander over to the station to pick him up, but then I got this feeling that I really should stop in Goodwill and poke around – and boy am I glad I did!

So there I was, poking around in Goodwill – without really enough time to dig for buried treasure; so just kinda cursorily browsing through, when I see this lamp sitting over on top of one of the clothing racks. I head over to it to take a peak and pick it up. Price tag reads: $19.99. Hm. Thats an awfully ‘spensive thrift store lamp. But it’s pretty and seems solid, which was when I turned it over and saw that it was a Pottery Barn lamp! Yay! So I said “Lamp – yer comin home with me!” Chucked it under my arm and marched to the check-out lane.

I need to clean the shade up a little bit and replace the bulb-fitting, since it only takes those itty bitty incandescent bulbs – in fact, I may replace the shade as well, since the fabric has a couple of teeny snags, but overall I’m stoked at such a great find and totally had to share. Here’s a picture:
